Greetings good listener! You have arrived at my second full length album. You are welcomed. No attempt has been made to disguise any pretense; these songs were chosen because they were the ones that delighted me at the moment I recorded them. This record is the product of many rooms, people, dreams (some likely misremembered as actual events), a few houses, paths and oceans. I hope you find solace or humor in these tracks.


Shipwreck and Rider

If I wake once more in a funnel cloud of days, all the mornings of the week knocking into me like debris from an unhappy past.
Having fallen asleep again to the same scene and dialogue, to the same stain on different shirts.
If at every hospital bed patients and nurses fuse and turn to stone in the sick amber lamplight.
If all parties abandon the summit, agreeing to tear each other to pieces,
If the forkful rots on the way to my mouth,
If passing bullets singe my hair and tear through the walls while my comrades in front shout for cover,
I will not avert my gaze from the moon.
I may measure it's position once more but more carefully.
These are activities for those who have learned to be still.
